The game Dial appears to be missing a rule. In Dial as described by David Parlett, and also his probable source, Prof. Hoffmann's book, the base cards founded at clock number positions should all match the suit of the initial King that is pre-founded at the center of the clock. The PGS implemention does not require suit matching, and becomes ridiculously easy with 2 redeals. Enforcing the suit rule would restore the modest challenge of the original game.
