This group had a relative paucity of winners on my first go-around.

Richard, if you have your list of solvable for this bunch, could you please post them.

Thanks,

Larry

Hi Larry,
202,203,204,205,206,
218,
222,225,228,
235,237,
240,245,247,248 and 255. That appears to be as far as I went.
We are planning to go away for a week or so quite soon and I have quite a lot of things to do first. I'll try and play a few more of the higher ones beforehand.

Richard,

I can add # 209,250,251,254 to your list so far.
I missed 248.

I'd just given them one fairly quick try Larry. I put a cross beside the ones that I think are the most likely to be winnable and then hope to go back to them at some point. I rattled through a few last night and got 272 as a winner, but had 50+ scores with 266,268 and 274. Also my score for #270 was 79 so it must be winnable.

You already know it's winnable Ken. Three partials for you. Move from one to another if you are still stuck.

Yes Ken. I appear to have given up on it anyway. I mark games on my list with an X if it appears that my score could be improved. Two 61's would suggest that I've pushed it to the limit.

It's half time. No score but a great game! Huge crowd too. I predict that football/soccer will be the #1 game in USA in the near future. Looks like we've converted Seattle already. Check their logo.

F.C.= Football club. S.C.= South Carolina.
You wouldn't want the world to think that all of your teams came from there.

I got your partial opened in 101 Ken. I tinkered with it quite a bit to no avail. The damage has been done well back in the game. A decent score though. You'll probably be able to spot the chief differences between our two efforts, as it is still fresh in your mind.

Re soccer: You might be right about it becoming the #1 game. American Footbal is in the midst of a nasty labor dispute and they might not even have the season this year. If enough people get disenchanted, soccer may be the next big thing!

The game finished at 01.30 Ken. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Apparently it was being shown live in 50 countries worldwide. Both teams liked to attack so there were plenty of chances and near things. I was impressed with the USA youngster Agudelo. Just 18!!!!! He'll be a household name worldwide in no time. If your other major teams put on entertainment like this, people will attend en masse. Then you could aspire to be genuine World Football champions.

It's only a matter of time Kathy. The game that the vast majority of the world know as football is watched by billions of people every year in every country you could name. Money rules every sport. Smart, powerful, rich people in America have already realized how much more money the can make getting involved in the most popular game in the world. The American public will not be slow to grasp the significance of watching their own countrymen taking on the best players in the world and the acclaim they will earn if they do well. Apart from that, kids don't need to dress up like gladiators to play it.

Similar feelings are voiced by Liverpool F.C. fans.

I'm losing the will to live. Microsoft is conspiring to drive me round the bend.
The answer to your question is yes and no. Yes it arrived. No I haven't been able to actually see it yet. When the steam stops coming out of my ears and the red mist clears, I will have yet another attempt. Then I'm going to send Microsoft some more helpful feedback.

Too much hair. Otherwise quite accurate.

I've given up on your video Ken. I cannot get it to open no matter what. The Hotmail account forces me to download items like this. It won't allow me to open them in situ like I've been doing for years. Then Norton has to chip in and then Firfox needs to get in on the act (despite the fact that I opened Hotmail via Google Chrome!). Every man and his flaming dog has to get in on the act with the nett result nothing happens.
You can try resending it to my Tiscali address. It should be practically empty as I nuked everything there last night.

Got the attachment OK Ken, thanks. Once more I was forced to download it. Same result though. I can see the file, size, etc. I can even see a thumbnail of a guy in a kilt, but that's as far as I can get. The file's properties are not the trouble either. Just give it up as a bad job eh?

It was a joke video of a Scotsman wearing a kilt and he would ask unsuspecting passersby to help him steady a ladder while he was on it. The hidden camera then caught their reactions while they looked up to see what he was doing and got a glimpse of the "goods".

score will be at least 80.
