This looks awful. The batching of numbered cards all together suggests the worst. Is it winnable with King Only or without?

A had time to make a quick overlook on your Freecell number (without King Only). Best effort were 4 points. I doubt that it is winnable because you have quickly filled the 4 free cells and it is hard to get them free again because of the doubling of cards within the shuffle. Worst are the 6s. All together on one pile.
Will give him some more minutes later.

Your game is winnable without the Kings Only option Jeff. My best efforts cannot get it to crack with the more difficult scenario.
I'll post some clues for you in an hour or so. I am busy at the moment.

KD + 8C up. QD over.7D up. 7C over. 4C over. 8H+7C over. Empty column 4. 8C+7H down into space. Empty column one. 3S back down onto 4H. KS+QD into space. 7S up. AH+2H and 3S+4S out. JS over, 10D down. Now concentrate on getting more hearts and spades out almost immediately.
That's most of the hard work done Jeff. If you are still stuck just come back and let me know.

Sorry Jeff. I botched the solution. More hurry less speed.
10D + 8C up.QD over.7H up are the correct opening moves.

Sorry, Richard, but i doubt if we are speaking from the same game:

If we are speaking from the same game, then i accept your Yeti, but if not, then back in his cave.

(Compare the PGS and the 101 game numbers. Maybe there is the difference.)

Done it! I'd never have solved this one without your help. Us Celts work well together!

I think we are talking from the same game, but in your description are some errors:

10D and 8C up. QD over. 7H over. After that it is right.

BTW my first post was a little motivation for you (i don't think you figured it out in 5 minutes).

Another BTW: as you can maybe guess, but i have had a horrible PGSME day. Sometimes bat, as batter can be. (But solved at least my own problems by myself.)

Markus, I had already made the corrections at "February 22, 2011 - 1:54 pm:". I was trying to type out a solution with the TV and Liz assaulting my eardrums at the same time.
Glad to be able to help you Jeff. I had more than one attempt before I found it's Achilles Heel. After that it was quite straightforward.
I am looking forward to a little Celtic word myself. I hope to be saying Sláinte fairly frequently during our impending holiday.
(For anyone interested.....Sláinte..... pronounced slange.... is Gaelic for "Cheers").

Oh very good! "Jet lag"!! Yes sometimes this happens. I think that you can open a page and start typing a message etc, and at the same time someone else has the same page open. Both of you cannot type in the box below the previous post, (although you both think that you are). Therefore one will be dropped into the next lower box. This could could also depend on how long both pages have been kept open.

Well that clears that up. Now if we could just figure out why it takes Markus so long to solve a hand we would really solve something.

Mike was clearly using "the Royal we" Markus.

I am a bit like a snail in one respect. I take my home with me when I go on holiday. Have home;will travel.(Paladin). I will be thinking about you when we're away.....(and the band played believe it if you like).
My last word for you meantime is ........
