I see that many people have a 100% record with Lucas but I think #36 for example is not winnable. Do people use a dummy player name to try out games before playing them so they will count for their stats!?

Hi Jonathan
I too think 36 is impossible
I have won 26 and lost 2 so I do not use the test
The only time I use a test is if I have won a game and sometimes people ask for a winning number then I try to replay it to get the moves and this is to stop me getting a higher score by playing a game twice and doubling the score

Hi Jonathon and Paul
Yes Lucas 36 can be won.Try leaving the tableau as it is dealt and begin turning over cards from the stock .that is what worked for me.
Good Luck

Hi Percy

Many thanks i have worked it out now
the difficulty with this game is it seems difficult to get a space
however the top left space with the 9d at the top is the one to get clear then it is much easier from here
the 7s go in the foundations when the 6s is played the 4h has a choice of two 5h the 7c on the 8c and 9d on 10d
I can give the sequence to here if anybody would like it

regards Paul

I have done it too now. It is so tempting to put the 9d from pile 2 on the 10d, but you need to keep this to release pile 1

Paul, Lucas #36 was a fun one. Thanks for the tips. What are the 2 numbers you haven't won? Let me have a go at them.

Lucas is hardly a challenging game. That is why I asked Paul for his hard numbers. But I seem to come up with one of my own. Try #433749569.

OK then Kenny boy!. "Lucas is hardly a challenging game" you say. Then here is your challenge. Emulate this saved game:- Lucas #36, 4 columns empty at a stock of 28. I aim to please. Ha.

I refer you to some of the above posts. Words like unwinnable and impossible were used about this! I didn't rate it either. Well done though, but lay off that cake.

You're slipping, old boy, I was pulling your leg. The challenge was 4 columns empty, stock 28. That was impossible. So, I did the next best thing, 4 columns empty, waste 28.

See what can happen if you trust people!! I didn't even open your "solution". I retract my congratulations.
Right Kenneth, your challenge remains the same.
Score 51, Stock 28, Waste 0, with four empty columns. This IS possible. To quote Max Boyce, "I know, cos I was there".

I suppose this means that I'l have to TRY next time. I was watching the TV, preparing dinner, and juggling chainsaws at the time.
I suppose I'd better congratulate you no matter how you lagged behind.
