I was doing great,...I got to 949 in a row, without a loss. Then I heard one game was unbeatable. By this time I thought I was too, so I played the "unbeatable game".

Game won, I lost......so final score: Wins-949 Lost-1

Undefeated no longer, but let's see someone beat 949 wins in a row.

Why were you so sceptical about my stats Mike? After all, people of great integrity have done MUCH better.

Perhaps we should ask them to run our banks.

No offence Richard, but the Fonts that you used for the photo-editing are so much different than the original. Like I said, nice try.

Mike (B) My money is on Tom from Scotland making it to the million mark before the end of March. Will he record a loser? No way! More perfect than God.
Mike (C), I could have spent a bit more time messing with the fonts, but I think I made my point. What you see is not necessarily genuine.

Well what do you know!

Let's hear it for Tom! Yeah! Well done Tom! If I was clairvoyant I'd predict Rene will be hot on his heels.

You have got to be kidding. It's not March yet. Unless there is something going on in Scotland that I don't know about. I new Richard was ahead of his time. But Tom has you beat. Tell me Tom. What is the Stock Market going to do tomorrow. Is he having fun with us?

Thomas. You caught me. I should have asked for the scoop on Monday. Perhaps a soccer score would have been more realistic. A nice wager someplace on advanced knowledge would be nice.

Not yet. I will try again right now. You could always buy a couple million Pounds of General Electric. It's really cheap at the moment.

......and worth every cent? Like money in the bank!
Jacks In The Box is the best of the new ones in my opinion. It's nothing like as difficult as the 10% rating would have you believe though. I'd say that 70% plus are probably winnable.

I got it to work. I am still trying to win my first game of Jack. I didn't start at number 1. But I will probably quit the game I am having problems with and go to #1.

You obviously have been following me. In truth I am usually the one in my group who has to watch where the balls go. Altough. I am not bending over for anybody. I do kneel and kiss the ground when my wife is present.

Just wanted to pass along a Penguin deal -- # 21681 -- that entertained me for several days during which, from time to time, I kept trying to solve it with no success.

This morning, just before posting a message asking whether it was winnable, I decided to give it another try. Lo and behold, I quickly reeled off a solution in a minute or two, with no difficulty at all.

It's fascinating how the unconscious brain seems to keep gnawing away at problems behind the scenes, so that solutions seem to pop up from nowhere, after the conscious brain is ready to give up. (Most of the computer programmers I know agree that often the best way to solve a complex design or debugging problem is to just leave it alone for a while.)

Hope some of you find this deal equally entertaining.
