I don't have a gun, so what can I do,
To end this torment of a life?
Topping myself, I don't have a clue,
Although I managed to murder the wife.
Sleeping pills will suffice.
The whole bottle I've taken,
I'm sure to nod off in a trice,
But now it appears that l am mistaken,
And boy my poor guts don't feel nice.
I'll crawl over the floor whilst I am still able,
To read what it says on the jar,
To my horror I see when I read the label,
Cascara, overdosed it by far.
If you are intent on your self destruction
Take care with this suicide caper
Read what it says, each last instruction
Or ensure you've got loads of loo paper.
