Ok, I am looking at the instructions that Richard posted last June 12th for "Jane", I managed to save it and run it. Now I need to back up slowly and see where my "hangup" is.
I can't help but wonder if this is cheating?
Is it how those guys rack up scores in the thousands?
Thank you, Carolyn

Most of us don't care about the scores anymore. Yes, being able to go back the way we do it can be used to pile up winning games. But it is the easiest way to help people who need a hint. Just think if Richard or KenB or KenM or some of the other good solvers had to write out every move in all the games they try to help people with. It would be very time consuming. Have fun and don't pay much attention to the scores.

I think Ive use 3-4 solved games by someone else and only when Ive finally given up. I dont give up often if I know it can be won.

Well sometimes I just need to know if it is possible.... mainly so I can stop pulling out my hair and go on to something else. Knowing how this all works has made me NOT CARE about the high scores. I just could not understand how I never could get over 800. I don't give up easily either. But, I am proud that I finally know how to download the games and see where I went wrong. Thanks again, Carolyn
