I'm not surprised you had trouble with that one Dawn. I'd rate it as a very difficult. If I ever manage to win it in deal one it will be a miracle.

Hi Maria, Long time!
I'm of the opinion that all games of Demons and Tthieves are winnable, but until you get the hang of it, it can drive you mad. It's all down to technique. Try to get an empty column on the left of screen early in the game then try to keep it open. Keep your cards there in red/black/red/black order, and try to empty as many cards from the right of screen next. These are usually better than ones off the reserve when you are faced with a choice. Remember that you can take cards back off of the foundations piles, and that that you can extend columns as long as you like occasionally by not playing a base card to the foundations, but playing it into the tableau instead. Auto-move must be off.
Try 1690096895. It didn't require any fancy moves and should come out OK if you watch what you are doing.

HI Richard--thank you for the help on D&T--yes,it's been a long time--we were both sick through most of March with bronchitis and the flu and then my husband had a very very mild stroke in April--so it's been hectic here--he's doing very well but it has taken me some time to get back on track---hopefully this will be the end of the "mis"adventures--
