Is there any reason to think that these shouldn't work well together? Someone I know has had a new computer with XP and installed their copy of 1999 Goodsol and it crashes on Goodsol from time to time. Nvidia drivers, don't know which.
Thanks.

Pretty Good Solitaire 99 will run fine on XP, except...it will not install on XP because of a bug in the installer that PGS99 used.

To install on XP, you need Pretty Good Solitaire 2k or later. If you are a registered user PGS2k is a free upgrade from PGS99, just download from the right side of <http://www.goodsol.com/download.html>. You will, however, need a new registration code for PGS2k, which you can request at <http://www.goodsol.com/regusers.html>.

And of course, you can always upgrade to version 9, see details at <http://www.goodsol.com/upgrade.html>.
