The new version of Pretty Good Solitaire is now available. We kick off the 10th year of Pretty Good Solitaire with Pretty Good Solitaire 600.
Pretty Good Solitaire 600 version 10 adds 30 original new games to bring the total number of games to 600. All 30 new games are original games never before seen. It also updates the statistics submission system to the web site to update scores on the web site immediately.
The 30 other original new games are Acey and Kingsley, Bald Eagle, Batsford Again, Big Apple, Big Dozen, Canfield Rush, Cell 11, Colonel, Crossroads, Doublet Cell, Eighty Thieves, Elba, Four by Ten, Leap Year, Lily, Lucky Piles, Mystique, Nunavut, Pitchfork, Scorpion Head, Seven by Five, Straights and Pairs, Strategie, Suit Elevens, Sweet Sixteen, Ten by One, Thieves Rush, Triple Left, Two Castles, and Zeus. All of these games are original games not seen in any solitaire collection before.
Pretty Good Solitaire 600 has a completely revamped statistics submission system. The new statistics submission system allows you to submit your scores to the web site by just clicking a button on the statistics or game winning screen (for registered users only). The scores update immediately on the new scores web site at http://scores.goodsol.com .
Individual score pages on the new scores web site are updated immediately, and the totals and other pages are updated hourly.
Finally, Pretty Good Solitaire 600 also includes extensive changes to the basic graphics game engine. These changes should be invisible to most users, but will improve graphic performance on some systems and result in less resource usage when playing with many other applications running.
