Is it possible to display points earned and lost while the round is being played? I don't know if this would be a big programming effort but I assume the data is available since that's how the final total for a round is arrived at.

It is certainly possible, though we would have to determine how it fits into the existing interface. We will definitely take this suggestion under consideration.
