    Thanks Richard!

Richard, I assume you are on holiday because you had no retort about you brown-nosing the Scottish couple who won the biggest European lottery in history. So when you get back from your sucking-up could you or one of your new lackeys solve #206130881
    My best score is 63.

Ken, Yes this # is winnable.

Thanks, Trisha! Let me keep working on it.

My best score is 57. What am I doing wrong? (Besides playing PGS late at night!)
  • edited July 2011 Member, Beta Tester
There is just one thing wrong with playing PGS late at night, and that is not playing PGS late at night. 55 at my first attempt.

I can push it to 59 Ken, this with introducing the 2nd 2H early on. Doing this sacrifices the 3S which also looks essential. Back to the drawing board.

I can also score 59 by taking the 3S in favour of the 2nd 2H. Uploading my highest scoring partial to see if it helps anyone to push it further.

67 now! It may just be doable! My brain is addled with it. Anyone else fancy a try?

You'll see that I had yet another rethink with it if you open my solutions on the previous page Ken. It is winnable from this position. 6/45/11

The clubs held the key for me Ken. Try it from this screenshot. 27/27/18. Take the QH and JS from the waste here.

Thanks, Richard. I have to go out. I'll try it when I get back.

No matter how many different ways I play it my max score is 66. Add another 6 and it's the sign of the Devil because I'm having a devil of a time with this one!

Got it, Richard! But I'm still frustrated with myself from earlier because you told me that clubs were the key, so I brought the Jack down but I still couldn't do it. But when you posted your partial, I got it immediately! The mind works (or doesn't work) in my mysterious ways.
    Thanks!

I may have misled you a little Ken. Getting the JC+10C into the tableau as shown in my screenshot was what made it winnable in my opinion.
