Am using PGS 12.0.0 - installed a few weeks ago.

In the game "Northwest", the tableau piles are built down by alternate color. Therefore, when playing by right-clicking on a card in the reserve pile, the card should auto-play to a card of the opposite color. And, in the older versions of the PGS that is what it did.

But in version 12.0.0, if a card of the SAME suit is open, it will play there instead. IOW, if a 10 of hearts is open and and a 10 of spades is open and I right-click on a 9 of hearts, it should play to the 10 of spades, but it doesn't - it goes to the 10 of hearts.

I don't believe it's supposed to work this way.

Can anything be done about this?

I had never played that game, but when I tried it, right click did the same thing. It put the card on its own suit, when it could, rather than the opposite color.

Yes, there is a bug in version 12.0.0 in Northwest Territory and related games. This bug will be fixed in the next version.

Any estimate as to when that might be?

We are working on a bug fix version now, probably will be released in February.
