What are your 5 most played games in Pretty Good Solitaire?

You can see your Most Played Games by clicking on Most Played in the left column on the main screen of the game. This will list all of the games you have played at least once in order, with the number of games you have played listed next to the game name.

My 5 most played games are Gold Rush, Rouge et Noir, Virginia Reel, Five Piles, and Alliance.

I have a collection of about 20 that I play "in rotation" every day. The top five are: Geoffrey, Limited, Big Forty, Zerline, Algerian Patience, and Raw Prawn.

The remaining 15 are equally mixed in type/difficulty.

My 5 most played are Penguin, Parallels, Maze, Ukrainian, and Fair Lucy. Penguin, because of seeing how many I can win in a row (425 so far); Parallels, because it's fun; Maze, because I wanted to see whether it could always be won (after 107, no losses); and Fair Lucy, trying to get the highest score, till folks started to post 100%.

Mine are Thirteen Packs, Ukranian Solitaire, Reserves, The Plot and Picture Patience. I've won 13 Packs twice. I've never won any of the others, but I keep on--I switch them from week to week---

I tend to play a wide variety of games, so I do not concentrate on too many specific games, but here are my current top games combining Pretty Good Solitaire, Pretty Good MahJongg, and Most Popular Solitaire:

1a) FreeCell (MPS)
1b) FreeCell (PGS)
2) Free Fan (PGS)
3) Wall Pairs (PGMJ)
4) Free Klondike (PGMJ)
5) Standard [tile matching] (PGMJ)

For breadth, I have played every single game in PGS, PGMJ, MPS, Action Solitaire, and Pretty Good Solitaire Mac Edition. :-)

Shucks, I'd have thought you'd have HAD to play them all, as a developer. <grin>

My own top five are pretty much easy-win games:
1) Thumb and Pouch
2) Lady Cadogan
3) Simplex
4) Alternation
5) Quadruple Klondike

True, although I was actually just counting the games I played after the programs were done and shipped. I always have two players, one called 'test' for development, and 'Gregg' that I use when playing for enjoyment.

Playing all 700 games in Pretty Good Solitaire was entirely by choice. I am like that. :-)

Mike, You scared me there for a minute. I thought you were saying that Alternations was an easy game. Last time I checked the stats I was the third winningest player for Alternations (not Alternation) with a whopping win percentage of 11%. Ken

Ken, I know the two have very similar names but are much different in difficulty, and when I posted I was thinking seriously of adding something like "(NOT Alternations)" to clarify.

Ken, my new stats for AlternationS is played 2, won 1. (784269952). First time I've played it on this PC. Thanks for the mind jog. Thanks too for a new word for my vocabulary; winningest. Surely that should be win-in-jest.

Richard, I've been so close on this # now for three days that I THINK I can win it, but cogito ergo NOT sum on this one. Any hints?

The first significant move was to put the 4D up early in the game, allowing the 4H to be moved.
At 6/44/4 I cleared column 3. Foundations 4D,AC,AH. Columns (lowest only) 2D,10S,00,7D,JC,5H,2S. Now I played the red nine from column 4 onto the 10 in col 2. I now moved col 1 into the space. Put up your 3S, but not the 4 from the pack. It goes on col 2, allowing col 7 to move. Move the 9H column. Clear col 1. Cards from col 4 into that space, then clear col 6. (13/33/10). I played the 5S from the stock into this space. Let me know if this lets you win it.
I won 200236321 and 74967785 after that. I won't insult your intelligence by saying I had no losers. Played 16, won 3. I must have had other winners on the old PC but it's a hassle just to get it to boot.
