It's quite possible that the rest of you made the same mistake as me when they looked at the above post from David Wedge. I thought that it was a factual list from someone who had done some research into Klondike.
Of his list of 61 games, only 9 are probably unwinnable.
43 are winnable with Kings option OFF, and 9 are winnable with Kings option ON.
Some of them are pretty difficult and well worth trying.

When determining the winnability of Klondike games, you have to specify not only whether KingOnly is on or off, but also the rules setting of 1 card deal or 3 card deal. Both settings will greatly affect winnability. Klondike is hardest with KingOnly on and 3 card deal and easiest with KingOnly off and 1 card deal.

It's likely that every deal is winnable with KingOnly off and 1 card deal, so when researching winnability it makes the most sense to set KingOnly on and look at either 1 card or 3 card deals.

Hi Thomas, I was not aware that a further option was available for 1 or 3 card deals, and don't know what David was playing other than with Kings OFF as he stated. I was playing with Kings OFF and 1 card deal and that's what my wins were achieved with. However I'm practically certain that I exhausted every possible alternative move in all of the games I couldn't win. 397580865 is a good example of an unwinnable Klondike even with the most relaxed rules. 2 is the largest possible score.

1271684224 is still winnable with Kings ON and 3 card deal. Some of the others may be too.
