Good luck with the rest of the game

A further clue is required I think, because you will possibly think you're barking up the wrong tree. At one point my waste was 32 with only 9 left in stock.

Hi Ken B,
Methinks your daddy was winding you up by saying he'd solved Cleopatra 155428353. My best score has been 48. My grandson could only get 47. He wants me to ask you how your daddy gained access to the following key cards.
7 spades......... position in pack 7th and 8th. 9 spades.........22nd and 23rd.
6 hearts..........11th and 14th. 10 hearts.........12th. We couldn't get a free column intil there was just 23 cards left. We think your daddy is having a laugh.

Hello Ken M,
Glad you learned something. It never pays to still religiously to one strategy. When it fails, as it invariably does, you just have to look for other avenues of attack. Have a few tries at "Cone", and then try again after you've read my game strategy for it, posted 18th Nov. This clearly demonstrates what I'm saying about tactics.
Any more nasties for me?

I just uploaded my score for Forwards and Backwards and saw your name at the opposite end of the league from mine. Would it be inappropriate to ask you what game number you used to win it? Am I being too forward with Forwards?

Hi Ken M,
Thanks but no thanks. I'll see if I can find another number for my six Not Won's. I was looking yesterday at some of the top scores and a certain name is the very top of quite a few. I think that there should be one less letter in Norway. The R seems totally superfluous, and without proof to the contrary, I'll not be changing my opinion. The assault on Forwards and Backwards goes on. Onward and upwardm til death us do part.

Hi Ken,
Corona #814362049 !!! If we were not to have breakfast before solving this, I think we'd starve to death. You've done well to get 50. My best so far is 47 but I don't anticipate improving on that by much. The early demise of both fours of clubs, 7 and 8 in the waste, makes this unwinnable, particularly as you don't get the opportunity to use spaces to your own advantage. The auto-fill just just scuppers it.
If you keep coming up with numbers like this I may yet have to invest in a granchild (non sexist, see?). Do you think I should put an advert in "The Times", or do you think "The Beano" or "The Dandy" would be more appropriate?

The problem with this number is that we start off with two 4's of spades in the tableau, but the 5's are at 7 and 8 in the waste, so we have two dead columns from the outset. There are also duplicate cards in the tableau which just make matters worse. I'm sure it's impossible.

Mike (and Richard), Like I tell EVERYBODY buying a new computer (like I did) is a one-time expense, but DSL is 4 times more expensive than dial-up and it is a monthly expense (plus I don't have a woman supporting me like you guys!) RM, since I'm still working on the # I posted (since I know now it can be won), I don't think I'll be much help, but I'll give it a go.

Don't start Richard. Like I said it's been a bad day. I'll spell pigeon with a F if I want to. So there. It hasn't been that bad a day. The starter at the golf course made me mad. I got there early 4:45am to be first out. And he put me in a group with a real idiot and behind a bunch of twits who took forever to play. Four and one half hours for no reason. Ok it's not a lot to get upset about but I was angry.

You can spell pheasant with an F if you want Mike, but not pigeon, please. Pretty please! You should invest in a catapult and fire things at the guys in front. Silent but deadly. When I was a very much younger I used this tactic to get shot of people who were fishing where I wanted to be. Buy a permit? How ridiculous!

Mike, there is not one F in pigeon, Passenger Pigeon that is. They're extinct.
Ken, I always copy and paste game numbers these days. It's too easy to do a typo otherwise. When you still have a partially complete game in front of you, you can hit "select game" and get your copy from there. You can do the same in the stats. It's very frustrating when you play the wrong game number. We've all done it.

You'd need to be highly selective to reach a total like that KM. You opened another one with obvious duplicates in the tableau. Just look at the kings! Are you mad? Don't answer that. Anyone who cycles 60k FOR PLEASURE definitely qualifies in that department as far as I'm concerned. #1280965632 is worse that the last one. You should get a medal just for getting all the aces out.
PS. I'm only jealous about the 60k. I just wish I'd that amount of energy.
