Your game is winnable Dawn. I have saved it to upload if you need it, but you may have overlooked a strategy that I use when confronted by difficult games of D&T. Nines are the base card for this particular number, but it is sometimes necessary to play them into the tableau to extend columns to 20 or 30 cards. They can be as long as you like. This is useful to help you get two or three empty columns in which to rearrange things. Let me know if you want the upload.

I've just replayed #506 and can now win it without touching the two redeals. It's far from easy doing it this way, but it's an excellent challenge if anyone else fancies having a go.

Hey, Mike, do you remember a TV show from the late 60's, called "The Guns of Will Sonnett"? Is Richard PGS's answer to Walter Brennan? His character used to say 'No brag, just fact!'

Dag Nabbit! I remember the title of the show but don't remember much of the plot. I had to look it up. Now the Real McCoys I remember more about.
Got through the cataract surgery just fine. I was pretty nervous. But after they gave me enough drug$ to calm a Rhino I was fine.

A considerable time ago I seem to recall making a statement about D&T to the effect that I thought that every game was winnable, and in fact most are winnable in deal 1. I used to play this game all day, every day, and I found this to be the most satisfying way to do so. But gentlemen, if you're not up to the job.....
I can't comment on "The Guns of Will Sonnett", as mercifully the British public were spared from yet another quality programme from the U.S.of A. There is just so much education a man can take.
Glad your surgery went well Mike. Interesting that they gave you enough drugz to calm a rhino. You've clearly developed a very thick skin since we first locked horn.

That sort of fits in with your trampoline picture doesn't it. Whatever medication is needed to stop the next thing up from the rhino would have been even better. After a check up today. All is going fine.
