Good morning,

another unwinnable Sea Towers?
Best score so long 3, but that didnt bring much. All others: score 1 (or 2), but with no happy end. Did anyone find a solution?

P.s.: its mean, because in the beginning it looks like winnable.

I've not got much time today. We're going to a Highland Games at Aboyne. I've convinced that this game is winnable. Will get back to it this evening if no-one cracks it first.

Also, Richard, when you get back, why don't you educate us people in the Colonies about what the Highland Games are about? Is it as exciting as American Football (whose training camp starts today....HOOORAAAYYY!!!)?

American Football......yeah! That is really popular in, let me see......America! That's it.
Glad to HEAR so many American and Canadian voices in Scotland recently. Here for The Gathering. Well done to the lot of them! The pipes, the pipes are calling.

An American gentleman, clearly a very educated and enlightened individual, a man of impeccable taste and irrefutable logic, was interviewed on U.K. TV. It was hard to dispute his argument when he declared,"There are only two kinds of people on this planet. The Scots, and people who wish they were Scots".
BTW, Dundee has challenged the claim that Thomas Eddison invented the light bulb. They can prove that it was invented by a Scotsman. Well.....we invented everything else.
I rest my case.

Sorry again Richard, for disturbing you with such an simple game. I started always with the wrong pile. I tried it again (i still cant open see file) and did it within 2 minutes.

Did you try my problems at Penguin and Eight Off anymore? In Penguin (2111) i can score 6 in 2 kinds of way. Did this help you?

I enjoyed your games Markus. They were all good ones. Sometimes we can identify the best way to win a particular game, and sometimes we try everything except the correct way. That's why I love PGS. I doubt if either of your other games are winnable. I will keep trying them.
We will have to train you how to use uploaded games. I am pretty busy with other things just now though.

No problem. Now i can climb up again and Penguin and Eight Off has to wait till it is very obvious, that they are either winnable or unwinnable. I will try them time by time. Some game i didnt play for some weeks, and then made them.

P.s.: In Highscores my name is Bib. Mostly in climb mode. Its a special kick to do it one after another.

P.p.s.: Had the chance to watch a Highland game about 20 years ago. Our group has also been invited for the rope. Our trial was a desaster, but it was great to watch. I will never forget it, espacially the pipes.

seatowers_134.pgs.goodsol (1.5 k)

I just stopped by to see what all the goodsol emails I received today were about. Many about solitaire games; I, too can score 6 various ways on Penguin 2111; some about sports (War Eagle!); and Mr Chekov on Star Trek said a Russian inwented the light bulb.

Yes 6 seems to be the maximum with 2111 Jeralyn, (although I am still trying for more). Pity a Wussian hadn't inwented the ewectwic fire then we may have been able to avoid the Cold War.
As you playing Pretty Good Solitaire or the 101 Collection Markus? They both have different extensions.

He is probably playing Pretty Good Solitaire Mac Edition, which games ('.goodsol') are interchangeable with Goodsol Solitaire 101.
