Hi Richard,

i am not sure, if we speak with STH #109 from the same game. Look:

An observation with the clock when NOT playing in Climb Mode............The clock restarts if you decide to restart the game that you are playing. You could spend hours on a particular game, restart it, and then spot the move that was causing you problems, and get a winning time of a couple of minutes or so.
This explains how I won some games "so quickly" Markus. I couldn't understand it myself until now.

I doubt it Marek. I have the latest Windows edition (1.01) and can produce bugs like an adult locust. You have to lift the cards onto other cards. The mouse will not allow the moves.

Hi Richard,

tried a few things. Look:

But it was so long not possible to put an spades 5 to an spades 8. And the unlegal movement was only possible from the middle. So, the Mac-Edition to back to the programmers board.

But i promise you, that i played it legally. Since that try, i did not know, that it is possible. I think, i play every Eagle Wing, to get one win (of course legally) and than wait for the right corrected version.

I cannot find a single game of Eagles Wing where I cannot make an illegal move, frequently many of them. This is just one of the bugs in the system. When you start with the "undo" buttom just about anything is possible. If it is possible to win unwinnable games because of a bug then there is no point in posting stats.

There are two distinct issues Gregg. The screenshot above this shows that cards from the centre can be put onto virtually any card of the same suit regardless of sequence. The other issue is on Undo. You can undo to a point where you can get an empty cell that would not appear if you were playing the cards in the normal forwards direction. You can win unwinnable games if you exploit the latter bug.

Let's take the details into the beta forum where you reported the problem, rather than splitting the discussion over two threads (and probably boring everybody else here :-)).

By the way, Gregg, one more thing: when i wanted to put my Eagle Wings stats online, they come only on the Best score board, but not on the all scores for eagle wings climb mode. (i have played nearly every eagle wings game, but i am only on a few stats listed. (Bib))

Try hitting refresh when looking at the scores in your browser. I just confirmed that "Bib" is listed on the Climb Mode scores for Eagle Wing and every variant except Eagle Wing [13]. (You are on top for Eagle Wing [19].)

Just two for remembering:

ST #1175
STH #134

I remember, that someone (Richard?) said, that one (or both?) is winnable. Is that right or wrong?

Btw, the tv is almost lousy on christmas. Always the same films. Always the same pictures from the last year.

Well done Trisha. That was going to be my next project. I got so engrossed in Dave's Spider that it had to get the axe first. Have a go at it. It's a blinder! I've just replayed STH134 and got it out quite easily! What a difference a day makes! It dawned on me that this was almost exactly how I won it in ST. Once I remembered the move it just fell into place. Excellent job though. That one is as hard as they get.
Markus is correct about how easy it is to mix up between ST and STH. I've blown it before now. We can all make mistakes.
