Hi all--I would like to know exactly how one goes aobut winning an "unwinnable" game with a supposedly "winnable" game number. I have been struggling with The Plot for a long time and have tried every single "winnable" game number that has been posted--and still, no luck. Is there a secret formula to it?

Yes Paul. Tell us about all those strange numbers. Is it some kind of a code? Explain to us about the secret formula.

"It's a mystery,it's a mystery,it's a mystery, it's a mystery". (And they say they don't write lyrics any more). "Do you know the answewr?". (Toyah).

"Don't go pulling my leg,"
"We couldn't if we tried".
"Solution you've found".
"Other mortals astound",

"Paul,we're gettin' restless",
"Maybe you'll be kind".
"Nobody knows it",
"Is it dark art?",
"Now we emplore you",
"Just give us a start".

"Don't go breaking our hearts".
"Take the weight off of me",
"Paul,Maria's just knocked on your door",
"Please give her the key".

"Just tell her, you aught",
"How you won "The Plot"",
"Write it all down".
"Don't be a clown".
"Moves from the start",
"Please will you impart?",
"Dark Masonic art?".

(Expect an email).

Richard, what talent! You should be on the stage! (The next one leaves in 5 minutes!)

Mike used to be on the stage. They even gave him his own brush.

Are your parents settling in OK Ken? Are they making themselves really comfortable? Are they expressing the desire to move in on a permanent basis? Are you developing a persecution complex?
(40/15).....Can you save your set?

BTW. I have done more on the stage than just sweep up. I have preformed Shakespear and sung in many places. Of course there was nobody there. I was the only one in the theater. I still say we need a permanent sticky about how to open the solutions.

Explain it to us all, Paul--between The Plot and Thirteen Packs, it's an easy road to Bedlam-----

Forgive us for being so light hearted about things Maria. It's just a bit of fun, (or at least that's what it is intended to be).
I have taken Mike's advice and have been doing some work on preparing a pictorial guide to help you and others to use the solutions that have been uploaded into the forum. Paul's solution for The Plot is excellent. Just because you have a winning number does not automatically mean that you will be able to win it on your own. There will still be a large number of moves that you will have to make. Every time there is an alternative move you have a 50/50 chance of getting it wrong. It just takes one wrong move to turn a winner into a loser.
Have a look back tomorrow and hopefully I will have had time to get a set of instructions uploaded that every player can understand.

Hi
a solution for 13 packs
application/octet-stream
Thirteen Packs_paul.pgs (5.6 k)

to agree with Richard
I knew a winning number for the forum for the Game reserves and it took me 6 months playing at least once a day before I could solve it

Richard, I was just joking also--I have won 13 Packs in the past (one or two times) but have never won The Plot on my own at all--and not even with the so-called winning numbers. I realize that one can go back many times and re-do certain moves and have a different outcome--
Thank you for all your help and have a very Happy New Year--do you celebrate with haggis?

Hi Maria,
There is a whole lot of tongue in cheek stuff bouncing about in the forum most of the time. Nobody intends any harm as I'm sure you already knew.
Almost finished with my latest guide to using uploaded games. We have Mike to thank for finding the newest and simplest method. Will have it uploaded for you later this evening. I intend having a pretty T.T. hogmanay........for once!

It this example we are downloading a solution for "The Plot". The method is practically the same for solutions for any other game.

Your PC has to be able to communicate with one at Goodsol (or their server) where the uploaded solution is stored. You MUST be online before it can be downloaded into yours.

Thank you for all your trouble, RIchard--
Now I know I've heard of hogmanany (sp?) but I've forgotten what it is---
In any case, again, have a Happy New Year!

Haggis is usually "round" but opinions differ about it being a "treat". Liz likes it but I'm not keen.

Hogmanay is just a Scottish name for New Year's Eve. Have a good one Maria!
