I thought I would try the game since Thomas mentioned it in his most recent newsletter, and I'm having trouble with the first one I've tried. Have things really turned "Upside Down" (sorry!) and I don't know how to play anymore or is this really a difficult one?

I had trouble with it too, Ken, and I got so frustrated, I decided not to play the game. I thought Thomas said it was easy to win. Maybe I'll go back to it later and try the # you suggested.

I didn't find that unduly troublesome Ken, unlike some I've tackled. If you were trying to tempt me into making some Down Under witticisms then I've resisted the temptation.

Just because a card is playable doesn't mean you are forced to accept it. One further down the stock may be far more productive. You can also worry back which comes in handy.

Since my parents are gone for the day I had a chance to play and I'm obviously rusty!
Kathy, what's the saying about being careful what you wish for? If you did move in with your sister, she might monopolize your time and your computer!

Ken, if I did move in with my sister, I would be confined to my room and could only come out to use the bathroom, otherwise with her permission only. On the upside, I could pay my bills and not go hungry. I think I value my independence more.

Your sister sounds like a very Christian person.

If I had to choose between living with somebody like that or giving up cigarettes so that I could have more money for food, I'd choose my independence too!

I chose my independence and didn't have to give up my cigarettes. Richard, that's the trouble, she is a very devout Catholic. We all had a horrible childhood. Her behavior is because of that, not because she doesn't care about me. After all, she does help me pay my rent and gets me out of trouble which I'm in a lot of the time because I can't believe anyone would want to harm me in any way. Go figure.

In my opinion you don't even have to believe in God to be a Christian. It's a frame of mind. Does being a very devout Catholic make you a good Christian?
That's my thought for today.

Everything is "relative", and that's my thought for today. Have to go now. I'll play later when everyone else is asleep, but I don't know what time it will be.
