Richard, i played a little Seven by Seven (the normal one, as you). Game # 10, where you wanted an opinion. Here it is.

Hardly winnable. Best score i could reach had been 13 points. Some variations i did not try, because of less of time.

I started a new thread for this game.

Thanks for starting a new thread Markus, and thanks for trying my game. It would appear that we are well matched.

I spent a lot of time on this one and I'm pretty sure I tried every possible variation. Definitely unwinnable.

I doubt that anyone can get more than 1 point with game #21. And you need only 3 clicks to reach this maximum score. And more than 4 clicks (in two different ways) aren't possible.
Seldom is a game so clearly unwinnable as this one.

I am having trouble with #15. I believe it's winnable, but I can't find the right combination.

BTW, I have officially retired Haystack from my repertoire.

In the first 43 games are just two unwinnable ones. One of them is #10. The other you can find above posted.

I found loads of women gifs. Let's just say that you'd not have approved of any of them. This is the best I could do. You can copy it from here if you want.

#10 is difficult. Move the 5H onto the 4H and then click the green arrow. (Don't accept the AD).

Thanks for the warning, Markus. Do you know if there are any losing games from 1-50 other than #21? I'm on #33 right now. It's difficult because I'm playing 7 x 7 and 7 x 7 alt at the same time, and I get confused as to which one I'm playing.

Yes it is winnable. I cannot post a position, because you can't open it.

Start with a redeal. Then 6S, 9C, AC and the second redeal. Then you have a winnable position.

I know it's easier for me when I know the game is winnable. In this case, at least the first 50 are winnable, except for #21, and probably the next .... I forgot to look at my stats. Once I got used to the game, most of them have been quite easy.

Thanks. BTW, can you recommend any games for me now that Haystack, Penguin, etc. are out of the way? I've gone as far as I can on the ones Markus told me he was working on. My trouble is I don't like Spider games, Yukon games or Canfield games, and I've played most of the ones in the Free Cell category that I like.
