As an update to the item in the newsletter about Anne's operation:
She had the operation today, everything went well and she is now recovering in the hospital.

Unfortunately overnight Anne had serious complications, from what we are not yet sure - it may have been a reaction to medication, or the medication may have aggravated something else.
She had difficulty breathing and she has been moved to the ICU. She was on a machine giving her oxygen this morning but that was removed this afternoon. She does appear much better this afternoon but she is still in the ICU.

I'm sorry to here that, Tom. I do not post regularly here but keep up with this forum via the mailing list and thoroughly enjoy my copy of Good Solitaire.
My prayers are with Anne and yourself in theis difficult time, especially that Anne's healing will be rapid and complete.

Anne is much better today and they have taken her out of the ICU back to a regular room. |

Anne is now out of the hospital and back home and recovering. It will be a while until things are back to normal around here, though. |
