I was wondering if a flower could be used as a wild card in Mahjonggm could someone please tell me.

In Pretty Good MahJongg, there are a number of different solitaire games, but none of them use the Flowers (nor Seasons) as wildcards.

In the 'long' solitaire games, the Jokers (Flowers/Seasons) are the base tiles, similar to Kings in the card version of these games. In MahJongg Gaps, Jokers have to be ordered in groups (along with the complete suits) to win the game.
