Ever since I downloaded the newest version of PGS it takes a few seconds to run when I click on it to play-just the start up screen (with the joker face) and then when I choose a game to play, it seems to hang up for a second or two and then when I get to the game I want it plays REAL slow. I have tried adjusting the options but no change. I am running Windows XP if that helps. THANKS!! |

If you have the speed settings set at the fastest level, then what usually causes the game to be slow is some other running application, usually something that is continuously scanning. Check for other running applications, and its possible it is something that you are unaware of (that is, you may not know it is running).
Especially look for anything installed recently.
